Paediatric Dentistry

Dr. Ihab Suwwan

B.D.S, M.Sc., (Ped. Dent), F.R.C.D.(C.), Diplomat, American Board of Pediatric Dentistry

Dr. Ihab Suwwan is currently on staff at Sick Kids Hospital.  He graduated from University of Jordon with a B.D.S. degree. In 2007, he graduated with a Master’s degree as a specialist in Paediatric Dentistry from University of Toronto. Dr. Suwwan is a member of the Royal College of Dentists in Canada and a diplomat of the American Board of Paediatric Dentistry.


Dr. Suwwan strongly believes in learning new aspects of dentistry and can be found continuing his education through courses each year. When he is not busy helping educate children on the importance of oral health, he spends time with his two young children and enjoys reading and continuing research. 


Dr. Suwwan is fluent in both English and Arabic and enjoys surprising his patients with special gifts.

    Dr. Regina Revuelta Perez

    D.D.S., M.Sc. (Ped. Dent.), F.R.C.D.(C)., Diplomat, American Board of Pediatric Dentistry

    Dr. Regina received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2001 from Universidad Tecnológica de México (Mexico City) following which she entered private practice in a Pediatric Dental Office. After several years, she returned to specialize, graduating in 2006 with a Master of Science degree in Pediatric Dentistry from the University of Toronto. During her final year she was awarded first place in the Student Research Competition at the Canadian Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.


    Dr. Revuelta has published many scientific articles on various aspects of dentistry for infants and children.


    She was an Assistant Professor in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Toronto for 10 years as well as serving as Director, Pediatric Dentist Surgicentre at the Faculty of Dentistry where she treated patients under general anaesthesia and supervised dental students. For the past ten years, Dr. Revuelta also has practiced in Pediatric Dental Offices in the Greater Toronto Area.


    Dr. Revuelta is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, a Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, a member of several other professional organizations such as the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, the Ontario Dental Association, the American Association of Pediatric Dentists and has served as President, Ontario Society of Pediatric Dentists.


    Dr. Revuelta is fluent in English and Spanish and she enjoys cooking and spending time with her husband and young son.
